Famous soprano known internationally.

Maria Callas (1923-1977) was a famous Greek-American soprano, famous for her extraordinary voice and intense stage performance. Born in New York, she studied music in Greece before emerging on the international scene. Known as "La Divina", she played iconic roles in works by Verdi, Puccini and Bellini, leaving an indelible mark on the world of opera. Her turbulent personal life and rivalry with Renata Tebaldi contributed to her legendary fame.

Artist known for his expressionist works.

Carlo Zinelli (1916-1974) was an Italian artist associated with Art Brut, born in San Giovanni Lupatoto. After serving in the Spanish Civil War and suffering psychological trauma, Zinelli was hospitalized in psychiatric hospitals, where he began to paint. His works are characterized by stylized, repetitive figures, often integrated into complex and colourful compositions. Today Zinelli is recognized as one of the most important exponents of Art Brut.

Dino Coltro (1929-2009) was an Italian writer, historian and ethnographer, known for his studies on Venetian popular culture. Born in Montagnana, he dedicated much of his life to collecting and documenting the traditions, legends and folklore of his native region. His works, including numerous essays and collections of oral histories, are fundamental to the understanding and preservation of Venetian cultural heritage.
